OK everyone this past week has been full of inspiration and talent!!!! NYC is amazing lets start backwards... Last night in Williamsburg I attended the last performance of Turkey (a dramatization) conceived by Abby Bender. I applaud you Abby! The work was full of subtle emotions, we feel this and you were able to bring it to the audience without words, The script was brilliant and the dance and movement transformed the space and the energy in the room many times. I arrived just before the show began to watch my friend Sarah Edwards my fellow draw-a-thon partner. If anyone has every tried to quit smoking you will appreciate this so much. Hopefully there will be another run soon!

Friday night Julia, Jessica and I went to watch our Friend Dana perform in a play: The Go Go Killers, if you love 60 movies about women being tuff and dancing in go go boots this will feel like a time machine. Dana was the leader of the pack! After the show I went off to TANGO as you may know this is one of my favorite events You can always find me caring a pair of dance shoes in my bag, waiting for a tango to begin. More events to come with Tango I will be throwing a few parties this summer that can't be missed. The first of which is a tango for music lovers at KGB bar on June8th @ 8pm www.kgbbar.com live music.
